30th International Museumday
Celebrate with us: the 30th International Museum Day takes place on 20 May 2007.
"All-inclusive admission price" € 5,- for all events.
Climb, look and marvel ... that is the motto for the 30th International Museum Day, which Lentos celebrates with a rich program of diverse offers and an "all-inclusive" admission price of € 5 on 20 May from 10 am to 6 pm:
Activities start at 11 am with climbing building facades in "future systems: rare moments", the workshop "when people were able to speak ..." starts at 2 pm. Sparks fly at 4 pm, when Elisabeth Nowak-Thaller guides a tour through the stunning exhibition of a "classic artist of Modernism", whose name in German quite fittingly means "sparks" - Helene Funke.
For children and young people under the age of 16 there is no charge for admission on 20 May 2007.

11 am -12 noon: SPECIAL GUIDED TOUR for young people through the exhibition
future systems: rare moments
with Gabi Kainberger
Climb the facade of a building in Linz,
let yourself be surprised by the scent of a wall of baby powder,
listen to an unusual sound concert by thirty live zebra finches.
1 pm - 2 pm: ROOM ON CHAIRS - SPINNING MONOLOGUE
In the co-project by Michael Kienzer and Carolina Caycedo, the exhibition future systems: rare moments invites all visitors to tell their own stories in a floating room.
On 20 May migrants in Linz tell their stories - come in, make yourself comfortable and listen.
This event is carried out in cooperation with maiz (Autonomous Integration Center of & for Migrant Women).
2 pm - 4:30 pm: WORKSHOP
when people were able to speak …
