Growth and prosperity are closely linked with a region's ability to make use of the creative potential of its people - creativity becomes an important location factor.
Scientists, engineers, artists, entrepreneurs, managers, architects, designers and many other creative people are the central figures shaping the 21st century. 25 to 30 percent of those working in Europe already belong to the creative sector. Their networking results in new ideas and innovations.
These and other issues will be analyzed and discussed in the framework of the conference.

How does creativity "work"?
Which surroundings are needed to attract creative people and develop their potentials?
Can Upper Austria and Linz become established as creative power centers in central Europe?
