ART CAMPUS LENTOS

22 October 2009, 6 pm to 11 pm
FREE ADMISSION: open doors for all Linz students, teachers and university staff members.

What links Lentos with the Linz universities*?
From now on, a shared evening where everything revolves around art, dialogue and sound. The new come-together in Lentos.
Together with the Linz universities and student representatives, this year for the first time Lentos offers a special evening of inviting art pleasure and party in a congenial and stimulating atmosphere.
In addition to free admission to the current exhibitions and special guided tours and DJ music, everyone can already look forward to a highlight of performance and visual sounds art:

8:00 pm
Station Rose: Augenclick - Pheromonic
Hungry Walking Blues (PEMIERE)
The artist duo Station Rose - Elisa Rose (visuals) & Gary Danner (sound), who founded the first space for "media art" in Vienna in 1988, see their audiovisual net art as a new language that destroys letters. For their live performance they created a "pheronomic space". The samples and substances that Station Rose exudes to the audience during the performance are intended to steer behavior like fragrances. The complex communication system of nature is applied in their digital art performatively, and the pheromonic is produced as audiovisual liquid. Signals trigger behavior reactions.
