Lentos uses the inspiring surroundings of the art museum to offer a five-part course in the classic discipline of nude drawing” from models – for all those who want to try it out, who want to refine their techniques and all those who want to try it as newcomers”.
The focus is on practical drawing in front of a model under the guidance of artist Klaus Scheuringer.
In addition, illustrative material from various artists in the form of catalogues from our library will be made available for inspiration.

Inspiration. Visual school and reflection

With this nude drawing course, we encourage the training of perception and seeing, the observation and familiarisation with the formal interplay of space, body, lines, figure, surface and how this also works on an emotional level.
From the middle of the 16th century, nude drawing was regarded as the so-called supreme discipline” of art training. The museum offers space to reflect on this attribution, if only because we create a relaxed atmosphere.
