The exhibition uses contemporary positions to shed light on the fate of artworks and artefacts between looting, abduction and restitution. The curators will provide insights into the show during the press tour. An exhibition of the Lentos Art Museum Linz on the occasion of the European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl Salzkammergut 2024.

In her artistic work, Margit Palme (*1939) translates her image of women, which is based on self-determination, strength and positivity, into vivid pictorial metaphors. She has been using aquatint etching for more than six decades.

As part of the Anton Bruckner Year 2024, the exhibition is dedicated to the aspect of singing together from the perspective of contemporary art. The show brings together around 20 national and international positions for whom singing is an elementary point of reference within their artistic practice.

To mark the 20th anniversary of the Cardinal König Art Prize, the exhibition showcases works by previous prizewinners.
