The Room: The Unevenness of Change. A Workshop on Bodies and Growing Spaces

A project by KunstRaum Goethestrasse xtd, pro mente Upper Austria, and Lentos Art Museum Linz, in cooperation with pro mente Jugend – youth residence blue.box and Ausbildungsfit work.box, VSG AusbildungsFit & pre-module FACTORY, as well as she:works GmbH.

This artistic project explores the body, its space, and its transformations. The starting point is the exhibition ​“Mädchen*sein?!” at Lentos Art Museum Linz, alongside questions that emerge from the 2025 annual theme of KunstRaum Goethestrasse xtd – ​“The Unevenness of Change”, with a focus on the body: on growing spaces.

Building on the development of individual contributions by young adults in the fields of drawing/​sketchbooks and model-making, participants are invited to realize a collective spatial installation as part of the 2026 event series, as well as to take part in a jointly designed workshop at Lentos Art Museum Linz.
