The Room: Art Talk & Discussion – Deconstructing Girls*
Accompanied by Luce deLire, Petz Haselmayer, and Isa Schieche, we take a closer look at the current exhibition. How is girlhood visually and linguistically constructed? What do trans* and cis gender identities, race, and colonialism have to do with it? We relate these questions to artistic, aesthetic, and writing practices. Together, we will also offer thought-provoking impulses through short scenic text passages. A discussion will follow.
