For your Birthday: Art!
We invite you to a very artistic birthday! Depending on the theme we choose, we experiment with sounds and homemade instruments to make the museum resound, build strange creatures or “do magic” with colors – until everything is mixed “motley”. As museum detectives, we also find traces of aliens on the Danube banks. Or: put a cape over your shoulders, brew a magic potion and watch how works of art in the “Museum of Witchcraft and Wizardry” help to open the “Room of Wishes”.
For all birthday children we will decorate the table in a festive way – please bring your own cake, juice and presents!

Baam Boom Bang
It’s not quiet at all at Lentos today. Together we explore what a museum sounds like and build musical instruments with simple tools.
Fantastic figures
On a tour through the museum, strange creatures and fairytale-like figures search for new friends in our collection. The pictures and objects we come across in the process inspire us to come up with ideas for our own fantastic figures, which are created in the studio from a wide variety of materials.
Color magic
What is your favorite color? Can you feel, hear, taste colors? After some color games we will explore the effect of colors on paintings in the Lentos and then on to the joyful color mixing in the studio!
Museum of Witchcraft and Magic
What if the museum was a magical place? Well, it probably is, only for the muggles everything seems to stand completely still. But for witches and wizards, works of art come to life, talk to each other, and maybe even allow us to enter the “Room of Wishes”… (A museum game with motifs from “Harry Potter”)
Aliens and detectives
Does the Lentos look like a “normal” place? Of course not – and this is the first clue that aliens must have landed… But who docked here and why? What traces have the aliens left behind on the Danube banks around the Lentos, what do they want to tell us and above all: How can we make contact? Fortunately, the birthday party is able to work as detectives at short notice and get on the trail of all this.
Note: the program will take place outdoors in fair weather!
